Pre and Postnatal Fitness Specialist (PPFS) In Class Certification

Our Pre and Postnatal Fitness Specialist (PPFS) Certification Course and Exam prepares certified fitness instructors (land and aquatic), yoga instructors and personal trainers to work with this specialized population. 

This 16-hour course can be taken in class or online.  We offer it in-class, in Vancouver B.C., three times a year.  If you would like to host the course at your facility in another city, please contact instructortraining@fit4two.ca.

CECS: 16 BCRPA, 14 PE/A2 CMTBC, 12 AFLCA, 12 MFC, 12 SPRA, 16 MTAA
(Need canfitpro CECs? You can apply for CECs when you renew your canfitpro certification.  They will charge $11/credit and award you 4 CECs.)

-Current pre/postnatal fitness guidelines
-How to choose safe and effective cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises for pre/postnatal women
-How to choose safe and effective core exercises for pre/postnatal women
-How to design a successful pre/postnatal fitness classes
-How to design a successful pre/postnatal personal training programs 

The Instructor, Melanie Osmack, is the founder of Fit 4 Two® and has taught pre and postnatal fitness classes in her community since 2003.  A certified Pre & Postnatal Fitness Specialist, she has designed a curriculum that is powerful in both information and in practical applications. Students can expect the latest guidelines and research as well as practical tips from an instructor who has the honor of working with new moms and moms-to-be on a daily basis.
