Prenatal/Postnatal 

Registered Massage Therapist 

I moved to Ladner with my husband in October 2015, shortly before we welcomed our first child. It’s already clear that leaving Vancouver’s West End to raise our daughter in Ladner’s more supportive and closely knit community was a great decision for our family. 

I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and have been a practicing RMT since 2010. I am happy to have opened my new practice earlier this year at The Birch Tree - Family Wellness. My approach to massage therapy includes trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, myofascial release as well as joint mobilizations. Treatments will be tailored to your wants and needs; no two people are the same. 

My massage therapy practice has a focus on treatments for expecting and new mothers, though all patients are welcome. During prenatal and postnatal massage treatments, a pregnancy pillow may be used so moms can be massaged lying on their stomachs safely and comfortably. 

Over the past two years, through pregnancy and the first sixteen months of my daughter’s life, I’ve developed a new perspective on motherhood and the benefits of massage therapy for new moms.  In addition to relaxation and pain management, massage therapy has general benefits for your physical and mental health. And moms, we need to take care of ourselves if we’re to be present and healthy for our families.
