Infant Massage Instructor Training FAQs

Who can take the Infant Massage Instructor course?
Anyone who has a sincere interest in the subject matter is welcome.  Some students take the course to enhance their skill set in a related field like doulas, yoga instructors and massage therapists.  For others, this may be their first coursework related to infants or wellness.  Many of our students are simply parents who want to share their love of massage with other parents.

How much does the course cost?
CA$350 + tax

If I take the course by distance education, how will my class materials be delivered?
When you register, you will recieve two emails: 1. A receipt.  2. A confirmation email with instuctions for accessing your course.  If you do not receive them within 5 minutes of registering, please check your junk folder. When you log into your course you will find instructions, materials and assignments.

Your two texts will be ordered with in 48 business hours and shipped directly to you.  We will forward all shipping conformations to you by email.

How do I submit my assignments on-line?
When you log into your course you will see that some assignemnts are done completely online and some are submitted via email. 

I notice that if I can't get to Vancouver, the observation is done online.  What are the computer requirements for this process?
You will need to install Skype (free) on your computer as well as access to a webcam.

How long will it take to complete the assignments?
Most people find they spend 8-10 hours on written assignments and class observation.  The practicum consists of 4 classes scheduled at your convenience.

How long do I have to complete the course?
6 Months.  That said, we do see an increase in completion and success rates among those who complete the course work within 3 months.

What happens if I do not get 80% on an assignment?
We will send it back and ask you to check your answers again.

I have a baby/young children.  Any suggestions?
You can do it!  You just need to schedule in non-negotiable time.  If you have young children, sit down with your partner/support person and work together to create a schedule you can both commit to.  That way there are no surprises and less conflicts.

Can I earn Fit 4 Two® Continuing Education Credits (CECs) from this course?
Yes, the Infant Massage Instructor Training course is worth 16 Fit 4 Two® CECs and can be used for the CEC requirement for PPFS Renewal.

If I take this course does that make me a Fit 4 Two® Franchisee?
No.  The PPFS course and our franchise opportunities are two separate entities.  Learn more about the Fit 4 Two® Franchise here.

After successfully completing the course, can I use the registered trade name Fit 4 Two® in my title or to describe the classes I am teaching?
No.  Only Fit 4 Two® Pre and Postnatal Fitness Inc and Fit 4 Two® franchisees may use our registered tradename for business purposes. Your title will be, "Infant Massage Instructor."

What is your refund policy?
