With a bachelor’s degree in modern dance, Aileen has had a lifelong passion for movement. Unlike many fitness types, she never considered herself a sporty person and fondly remembers signing up for the grade 3 softball team just to get the cute hat. Then, one friendly weekly sports club led to joining an ultimate Frisbee team, and all of a sudden, she discovered the joys of running around for the heck of it.
Aileen is also a self proclaimed Winnipeg booster, who loves our community and is enthusiastic about making it a better place for us all. Prior to joining the Fit 4 Two team, she worked in fundraising for the Manitoba Theatre Centre, and volunteered for several other arts organizations.
Aileen taught aquafit classes for several years, including throughout her twin pregnancy. When she became Mom to identical boys Carson and Ronan in May 2008, she decided to become a certified Manitoba Fitness Council Group Fitness Leader and Pre & Postnatal Fitness Specialist and bring Fit 4 Two to Winnipeg. She benefitted from all her Fit 4 Two classes through her second pregnancy and welcomed daughter Eloise in September 2012.
She looks forward to using her knowledge of fitness to help Winnipeg moms and moms-to-be to stay healthy and strong, and to having a good time while doing it!

This is not just a walk in the park. Stroller Fitness is a baby-friendly full body workout. Each class includes intervals of cardio drills, functional strength training and short power walks followed by postnatal-specific core work and flexibility. Our mobile intervals are ideal for babies who like to be on the move. Come out and meet other moms in your community!
Women should be 4+ weeks postpartum (6 weeks for caesareans). All fitness levels are welcome. You do not need a jogging stroller. For safety reasons, mobile babies & tots should remain in their strollers/carriers/arms until core work.

I really enjoy your program. So many benefits besides the exercise, just getting out, meeting other moms and bonding over milestones, hardships or just how tired we are!
